To play your music, the app needs permission to read the folder you choose. It saves a secure bookmark (not a copy of your files) so it can reopen the same library next launch. It never moves, uploads, or modifies your files.

The drive or folder isn't connected right now, or macOS needs you to re-confirm access. Reconnect the drive or use the Reconnect button on the source. Your library entries are preserved — nothing is deleted automatically.

Music is split into instrument/vocal lanes and voice recordings into per-speaker segments — entirely on your Mac. The models are downloaded once (with your consent) and results depend on the source material.
